Electric tea kettle that DOES NOT whistle?!

Question: Electric tea kettle that DOES NOT whistle?
Does anyone know of a brand of electric tea kettle (available in the US) that does NOT whistle or make any noise when the water is ready? I want to buy one so I can have tea for myself, but I share a suite with 3 roommates and they will not be happy if I have a super loud whistling kettle going off all day long.

Answers:

The one I have is Hamilton Beach 40870. Although you can hear the water boiling, there's no whistling at all. When it's done, you hear the on/off lever click back to the off position. I got mine from Costco last year but you can find them just about anywhere. I like it because it boils water really fast.

2 options:

Electric kettle - this is not a tea kettle. It looks like an insulated water pitcher you place on its base, which then heats up the water. The kettle does not whistle or anything when the water is ready. It just turns itself off. The water remains hot for awhile because the insulated pitcher. These can be found at most Bed Bath & Beyond type stores for about $35-50.

Water Hot Pot (this is what I call it - it has no English name.) In most Asian countries, the household will have this table-top electric hot water heater. You pour in water, and it keeps it at a constant hot temperature for tea, coffee, etc. The only sound it makes is a sort of *whooosh* when you first pour in the water. They hold between 1.5 to 3 liters, and cost between $40-80. You can find them at any Asian grocery store or similar market. I've even seen some at Costco.
