Question: Is really consuming lots of green tea really efficient for losing weight?

It really depends on the person's eating habits and how much they exercise. If a person eats unhealthy and doesn't exercise green tea won't help them lose weight. It helps serve as a metabolism booster but without a healthy diet and proper exercise there is no point in drinking it. And also it depends on what kind of green tea you use. Most of the ice cold bottle ones you have at the store have unwanted sugars and calories. But if you brew your green tea that has 0 calories. It also serves as an immune system booster.

I drink hot green tea 2-3 times a day (depending on the weather). But I also eat healthy and exercise 2 x's a day for at least 30 minutes each time. And I was able to lose 15 lbs. Now I just drink green tea more as an immune system booster.



The best way to lose weight is through a balanced diet and regular exercise. Green Tea is a powerful antioxidant that can aid in weight loss by improving your metabolism, which in turn allows your body to burn fat faster.

There are so many yes and no's out there on this. Generally it's touted as helping in a weight loss program. On the other hand, if you're always drinking sodas and then change to tea without milk or sugar, it's obvious that you will loose some weight. Generally green tea is a healthy drink so it's a great thing to add to your life.

It might depend on the person. About 2 or 3 years ago I stopped drinking soda and replaced it with green tea. I lost about 20 lbs because I already ate pretty healthy. I just consumed way too many extra calories in the soda I drank.

Well no, it's just water and tea leaves.
It cannot possible make you lose weight.
THe only way you lose weight is by eating less or excersizing more, or both.

Green tea is nota weight loss aide. How woud that work?



It might help but if you drink too much you might gey dehydrated and make you want to eat more.
IT all depends on what is your pverall nutrition and how much you exercise!
