Energy drinks are all-around bad for him. It messes with the body (i.e. liver, heart issues). Not to mention it makes the body USE more energy. To gain energy you have to lose energy, and this is what the energy drinks do. It's like a chemical balance, you lose some energy with all the chemicals that go in the body, but those same chemicals end up GIVING the body energy (albeit for a short period of time)
This extra boost may last one or two hours or more depending upon the size of the drink, the amount of stimulants in the drink, and the tolerance of the person drinking it. Some drinks have extremely high caffeine levels or other stimulant amounts that may make people highly energetic or very jittery depending on caffeine tolerance.
for instance can report feeling nausea and vomiting, irregular heartbeat, and terrible headache. This may be addressed by not drinking these drinks on an empty stomach. Yet those who are really sensitive to stimulant levels may endure several hours of illness after consuming one of these drinks.

i hate them. u can get addicted, have concentration problems, withdrawal symptoms, irritability when one is not drunk, affects heart beat and blood pressure, difficulty for digestive system, if mixed with alcohol - it battles in ur system as one is a stimulant and one is a depressive, caffeine is a dehydrative and if used over a long period instead of water, can cause permanent damage to various organs, can cause lack of sleep leading to insomnia. please, read the page on the link provided

yeah caffeine will dehydrate a person and def can cause problems with kidney and (they say liver has no feeling, i might digress but whatever) liver problems....also it prematurely ages skin due to dehydration, could be heart problems, among other thing...
stimulants really arent that good and maybe its time for a new job because honestly..ask ur husband if he were a porn star would he need energy drinks all day? f*ck no because he'd be EXCITED about getting up and slammin honeys all done...
just my .02
good luck
Although most people will think only of the physical impact, I think the most long lasting is the psychological effect of feeling unable to perform tasks without drinking an energy drink. Its a psychological dependency very much like other drugs. Yes he will in deed damage internal body parts as well.
stroke, heart attack, high blood pressure
they don't last that long at the end of the day you knock out because of the sugar crash
best thing to do is tell him that you want him to live a very long time and you don't want his life to be in danger because of his obsession with energy drinks
