Is it just me, or does a person who drinks make them look bad?!

Question: Is it just me, or does a person who drinks make them look bad?
Even if they don't get drunk. For some reason I think it makes you look shady but I don't know why. So why? I mean, I can't imagine a good pastor have a bunch of beers in his/her fridge. NO OFFENSE TO ANYONE!

Why should you care what other people are doing? Let them.
Judge not lest ye be judged, eh?

I guess if you are going to be a pastor there are some things you should not let people know about. "Hast thou faith, have it to thyself." Jesus drank with the sinners, and that is exactly what he was criticized for by the Pharisees. The beer is not the problem. "That which goes into the mouth can't defile a man, but that which comes out of the heart."

I am a Christian and I can drink if I want to. I really could care less about drinking. My roommate has friends over and keeps beer in the fridge. I could care less. She's not a Christian. But that is really because I am into working out and my body, so I can't really pass it off as my trying to be a good testimony. I just could care less about drinking.

The better question for you to ask is why is the beer so important to your pastor? What is going on in his life that he risks having beer in the fridge that is going to stumble a Christian such as yourself?

I'm a boozer from way back and nobody has ever guessed my age correctly. Everyone thinks I look at least 10 years younger than I am and most guess 13 to 15 years.

Genetics have everything to do with the way a person looks ... even if that means that they are genetically predisposed to looking haggard and tired after they've been drinking, whether that is one night or one decade.

Drinking and smoking can both affect your looks but people who drink and smoke shouldn't care what others think. In fact, what others think about you is none of your business

no offence,,,,, there is fear and fear being near,,,,, bet TV is really scary????........i fear you and your good pastor,,,,,,,,,,there is no such thing,,,,,everyone sins! and that is the joke of all religions
go to the less seen as evil when all we know is sin,,,,,

Yes it does because it's like if you smoke you will look older than you actually are and it is the same with drinking alcohol. I could never, never smoke or drink alcohol in my life I just think it's wrong.

Substance abusers often have psychological issues, and that includes those who drink alcohol or smoke tobacco. The fact that these latter two drugs are legal doesn't make them any less damaging, nor does it make the people who use them any better adjusted.
