Someone put laxatives in the punch!?!
Ok I was at a dance and like 10 minutes after I got there people were telling me the punch was really good and acting pretty weird. So I'm thinking someone spiked the punch. Later I see people around the punch bowl and there is a person standing there telling people not to get near the punch. Because it was someone my age, who is pretty chill, telling people to get away I think that something worse must be in the punch. I ask around and find out someone put laxatives in the punch. So the whole punch bowl is almost empty and people are starting to leave not feeling well. There was someone on the ground holding their stomach too. The story gets to the people supervising the dance and they get rid of the punch. Then they see the guy who did it trying to sneak out. But later I see him back inside and apparently he denied everything or something. I'm wondering if there are any bad side affects to those laxatives or if it is possible for people to be allergic to them, because some people got pretty sick. Me and a few of my friends didn't drink any but some people didn't look to good...

Yes, some laxatives can be dangerous. If they produce diarrhea, they can result in depletion of electrolytes that can cause cardiac arrest and seizures or coma. For this reason, putting laxatives in punch is legally equivalent to poisoning. In some jurisdictions, it could even come under terrorist laws.
they're just laxatives, nothing to worry about. Some people experience cramping from them, and maybe some nausea, but that's it.
