Question: Heavy cream or heavy whipping cream?
what's the difference of heavy cream and heavy whipping cream? if there is how and what for u use them.thanks.

Same same. Will make a richer tasting sauce or gravy when substituted for milk. Also tends to thicken sauces.
Of course for whipped cream and cream fillings and custards in desserts. Basically it will improve the taste of almost anything which calls for milk.



Tough one in that the way a cream is labeled makes all the difference.
Light whipping cream is different than heavy cream, but I've seen whipping cream that's the same as heavy cream.
The basic difference is fat content. Heavy cream has a higher fat content than light whipping cream.

I would imagine that for most applications, whipping cream and heavy cream can be used interchangeably
