Did coca cola really actually once have cocaine in it?!

Question: Did coca cola really actually once have cocaine in it?
I've heard about this so much but how true is it? Are they just rumors? If it did have cocaine in it what year? Why did they put it in coca cola in the first place? Any sites would be good also. Thanks :]

Yes it originally had cocaine it it, i think that's why coca cola wont ever launch a throw back!

Wikipedia says

When launched Coca-Cola's two key ingredients were cocaine (benzoylmethyl ecgonine) and caffeine. The cocaine was derived from the coca leaf and the caffeine from kola nut, leading to the name Coca-Cola (the "K" in Kola was replaced with a "C" for marketing purposes).

Yes. Feel free to read a couple different information sources. They may not be the most trustworthy sources, but the stories match up upon multiple sites.
