I know that it is owned by Whitbread who also own and operate hotels and pubs. I'm not sure if this appeals to you, but sometimes looking at the bigger picture (like who owns a brand) unlocks endless potential in a job. You might work for Costa as a manager but you'll also be part of a much larger group of companies. Whitbread own successful pub brands all over the UK, hotels, and of course Costa is also expanding worldwide and already have several international outlets. Fancy working abroad once you get some managerial experience under your belt?
