is sparkling flavored water basically a diet soda?!

Question: Is sparkling flavored water basically a diet soda?
sparkling flavored water- does it actually have the health benefits of plain water or is it basically diet soda?

Answers:

Water by it's self is good for you, but carbonation ads the element of carbonic acid which very, very, mildly etches teeth as they are made of calcium. You would have to drink quite a bit of it though before there was any noticeable damage. I wouldn't even compare carbonated water with diet cola's, they are full of phosphoric acid and artificial sweeteners which are very harmful. So water is best, co2 water second and co2 water with sugar third.

No it is not like a diet soda. Its like water with way more acid.
Diet soda's are actually way worse. It contains aspartame which is a sugar replacement and it causes over 90 different problems in the body.
Sparkling water is fine just as long as there are natural flavors

Water doesn't have any health "benefits."
Diet soda is full of aspartame and chemicals.
Flavored water can actually have more "health benefits" if it contains vitamin C.
You're much better off with that over diet soda.

Diet soda has no calories, most sparkiling waters have calories unless they are diet sparkiling waters.

It tastes like sparkling peepee
