I dont know. I drink tap water all the time, but it depends on where you live. But usually and surprisingly tap water has been found many times to be cleaner that bottled water. Because of the fact that tap water companies must comply with goverment standards and are regularly tested, but bottled water companies do not, so who knows whats in there.

No, definitely not. Some do think it's gross, however. I tend to disagree with them, even when they use the correct word. Tap water (where I live, anyway) is fine. I prefer it o the expensive bottled stuff because said stuff does not contain fluoride. Tap water does, and my teeth need all the help they can get.
In my town the tap water is full of chlorine and it taste horrible,but just outside of town in the country the water comes from a well and it taste much better and fresher!
Depends on where you live. Hell yeah, it's gross if you live in LA where the water comes out brown from the rusty pipes. It has a coppery smell and you have to wait a few minutes for it to run clear.
Having grown up with well water, I THINK CITY TAP WATER TASTES DISGUSTING!!!!! :O
