Does anyone know if Coca-Cola is the same all over the world?!

Question: Does anyone know if Coca-Cola is the same all over the world?
I live in the United States. Is the recipe for Coke the same all over the world or does it taste different in other countries? Thanks ahead of time.

It tastes different in other countries, depending on where it is manufactured. It all basically tastes the same but there are minor differences depending on the source and their production of the ingredients.

European Fanta tastes better than American Fanta. Just sayin'

The recipe for Coke is not the same. Some countries use natural sugars, like cane sugar the way we did in the USA years ago, but we switched to high fructose corn syrup. Some countries use Stevia as a sweetener for Coke.

Also Coke tastes different depending on where it's bottled because local water is used at each individual bottling plant.

don't know about the rest of the world but it *IS* different in mexico. they sill use real sugar instead of high fructose corn syrup.

and if there's ONE "exception" then there are probably more.

Coca Cola raw syrup is the same recipe, all bottlers get raw syrup from the same source. The difference in taste comes from the water that the local bottlers use to produce the finished product.

the flavorings are the same
the sweeteners are different

in the US its high-fructose corn syrup
in most of the rest of the world its cane sugar
many people think there is a big difference in taste because of this

its exactly the same everywhere

It's the same everywhere but the can/bottle changes for each country.
