Should I refrigerate ground coffee?!

Question: Should I refrigerate ground coffee?
I have heard that ground coffee should be outside the fridge and I have also heard the opposite. Is there a correct answer?

Answers:

I am friends with a couple who own a coffee shop and roast their own beans and they told me that I should keep whole beans in the freezer in an opaque container and keep ground coffee in the refrigerator in an opaque container, so that's what I do ... but I also grind coffee as I use it so I don't typically have any ground coffee leftover to put in the fridge

i have tried coffee grounds refrigerated and with being refrigerated and to be honest i didn't find a difference in taste. The best thing you can do to get the full flavor out of your coffee is to use 3 tablespoons of your ground coffee per 16 oz. cup and as soon as your coffee maker is done dripping coffee into your cup, cover it up with a lid for 20 min. before adding cream and sugar. Once you try this you'll all ways have the best cup of coffee you ever had. Hope this helps, good luck.
