How much caffeine should I drink to pull an all nighter?!

Question: How much caffeine should I drink to pull an all nighter?
I'm 13 and 115 pounds. How many milligrams do you think I need? I only want to make it about 6:30 AM, I'm not looking to break my record right now (which is 36 hours straight). Also all my caffeine would be coming from coffee with milk and no sugar, and black tea. That's really all I have available right now.
Bonus question: what are some other tips for staying up all night? I heard mints help, but I don't have any of those. I heard high energy foods like nuts and fruits help, but nuts are too calorie-ridden (I do eat them, but only like five at a time which probably wouldn't help much) and I refuse to eat the sour mandarins and close-to-over ripe banana's we have. It's too cold out to leave my window open and bundling up makes me feel sleepy.

I hate to think of a 13 year old pulling all-nighters. It's something college students do, and it's not even good for them.

College students often use something stronger than caffeine. 8^< At least caffeine is relatively harmless.

How much you need is different for different people. Some people don't feel caffeine at all, some people get jittery for days after one cup of strong coffee. Also coffee has a lot of acid in it that can upset your stomach, give you heartburn, etc., even diarrhea.

You'd be better off with caffeine pills. Like 'No-Doz'. You can get it at any 7/11. I wonder if they'd refuse to sell it to a 13 year old. I'm guessing your typical 7/11 clerk would just ring it up for you.

Be careful with them, though. Don't just munch a bunch until you have a chance to tell how they affect you. Caffeine is ADDICTIVE. I know, 'cos I'm addicted, and I admit it (I actually roast my own coffee!) Plus you can OD on them. It won't kill you, or even make you really sick, but it can make you feel pretty bad for a while.

Don't pull "All nighters!" get your "8 hrs sleep", -you can still drink some coffee, but it's like a "drug"-I do get my "sleep" & I drink it from the time I awake to the time i go on my coffee-breaks/lunch/my last break, till the time I go home... I'm hooked on it-If I don't drink it, I'm a "zombie" & I couldn't stay awake on the job at "work"- (My favorite is ice cream & coffee-like a sweet coffee float)

few cans of pop

well. ive actually broke my own records for that twice, my first was 2 days, my second was 4 days, and my current one, which i cannt seem to break, is 9 and a half days. (dont ever try for 9... or 5 for that matter.) at 6. i thought our street sign for our driveway was a person. it turns out it wasnt. worst day of my life lol.

but, make sure you eat alot. it doenst have to be high energy, just eat. it keeps your body and mind busy... and make sure you drink alot. the same thing goes.

and you dont need any caffeine, actually it can make you feel bad if you plan on staying up for long hours, which... your not really.. so i guess you could go ahead with just coffee and tea. thats about the only options.

email me at osythe@hotmail.com if you got anymore questions.

goodluck.

WOOOOOOOOOOOOOAH there, you are only 13 and you want to pull an all nighter. Dude you should be getting atleast 8 hrs. of sleep ( or on weekends 13, like me) see i am only 10 and I know that seriosly dont even think of trying to pull it off. And besides I think you know how addictive caffene is man, and c'mon you pulled 36 hrs. straight dude soon if you keep this up your brain is going to be over exausted and that could lead to hallucinations and soon black-outs. Trust me dont do it
