Does soy milk and almond milk have the sugar lactose in it?!


Question: Does soy milk and almond milk have the sugar lactose in it?
I am just wondering this because I am lactose intolerant and I want to know if i can buy these products, also soy yogurt...

It definitely doesn't have lactose in it.



No, neither soy milk nor almond milk contains any lactose. That's the main advantage to drinking them. They won't upset the stomachs of people with lactose intolerance because they contain no lactose. Lactose is found only in dairy products, like real milk. (Soy and almond milks aren't really milk, despite the name.)
