Question: I wanna make Sweet Tea for my wife. How do i make it?
My wife have been bothering me over Mcdonald's Sweet Tea. She loves them. I'd like to make it for her than spending money every single day for sweet tea.

Ingredients

* 1 pinch baking soda
* 2 cups boiling water
* 6 lipton tea bags
* 3/4 cup white sugar
* 6 cups cool water

Directions

1. Sprinkle a pinch of baking soda into a 64-ounce, heat-proof, glass pitcher. Pour in boiling water, and add tea bags. Cover, and allow to steep for 15 minutes.
2. Remove tea bags, and discard; stir in sugar until dissolved. Pour in cool water, then refrigerate until cold.

One of the easiest things to make! My favorite is classic sun-tea.
Take a glass pitcher and fill it with hot water. Place about one teabag per 12oz into the pitcher with the paper tab outside the lid. Place the lid on the pitcher to suspend the bags in the water. Place in the direct sun for at least an hour. Add two Tbsp of Sugar per 12oz or to taste and pour over ice. Enjoy :- )

Here is another recipe for classic southern tea which McDonalds tea is based on:

*3-4 cups of water
*pinch of baking soda
*3 family size tea bags
*1 1/2 cups sugar

Directions:

Bring 3-4 cups of water to a boil. Add a pinch of baking soda to the water and add 3 family sized tea bags. Remove from heat and cover. Allow to sit for at least 10-15 minutes. Pour into gallon pitcher and add 1 1/2 cups sugar. Then fill with cold water. Refrigerate.
*the soda takes out the bitterness and darkens the tea....this small amount doesnt change the taste.

note: do not place the Sugar into the tea until you have taken it out of the sun and are ready to drink it, you do not want bacteria growing in your tea!!
