Am I crying over spilt milk?!
This guy asked me to a dance. I'm 17, he's 16, we're in the same grade and school. But, I'm not sure if he wants to get romantically involved too, as in bf and gf. We talk some, and e-mail a lot. And, I e-d him that he could back out if he wanted and he said that's not an option. Then, I asked him why me and not some other pretty girl who goes to our school...I'm average looking, and he came up with a paragraph of reasons. Do u think he wants more that just to go to a dance? Should I ask him if he wants more, or just wait and see? Am I exaggerating a simple situation?

Just go to the dance and have a good time. You're 17 yrs old... it's not like you have to figure out if he is the one for you... just go and enjoy!!
Figure it out as you go, no need to stress out over a scenario you are imagining. Enjoy yourself and only do what you want to do.
He seams to want more. But allow it to take it's course. rushing it could damage it.
