Why is pepsi max bad for you?!

Question: Why is pepsi max bad for you?
Just looked at the back of the pepsi max bottle and it says 0.3 kcal, and 0.1 protein, but nothing else. Nil carbs, nil fibre etc. So although it has barely any proteins or anything, and so isn't 'good' for you...why is it actually bad for you? 0.3 kcal, no sugars etc...thats not bad...surely???

Dave, you looked at the label, now look at the ingredients.

Carbon dioxide - a waste product, we breath this out because it is a poison. You're drinking it.

Phosphoric acid - a corrosive substance. So corrosive that when it is being transported, it can only be carried in Stainless Steel tanks, anything less would simply dissolve away. It de calcifies your bones. You're drinking it.

Caffeine - an addictive stimulant. Not a nice chemical to be consuming but hey - You're drinking it.

Aspartame . . . . . gosh, where do I start with this one. Aspartame contains methanol. When methanol is heated up to 86f. it breaks down into formic acid and formaldehyde. That's a natural poison as found in ant sting and a bleaching agent that is used by undertakers to make sure a body is dead. Aspartame is addictive, it is a neuro-toxin. We only have one nervous system and when it gets damaged, it doesn't repair. Eyes and hearing generally go first. Balance is co-ordinated in the ear, that suffers. It is also a depressant, makes you feel unhappy by effecting the dopamine levels in your body.
The FDA in America released a list of 92 side effects associated with aspartame usage - it also included death (as a side effect . . .)
Aspartame also makes you put on weight.
Long story short - I will not allow pepsimax into my house.

Do not buy pepsimax or any other artificially sweetened products.

Unfortunately, not everything shows up on the nutrition label. Pepsi max contains artificial sweeteners, which have been linked to a wide range of health conditions and have actually been shown to cause weight gain. In addition to that, it contains an excessive amount of caffeine, which can be very damaging to your health, especially if you are consuming other sources of caffeine (e.g. coffee, tea, chocolate, energy drinks...) throughout the day. The best choice to quench your thirst is water, plain and simple!

It contains a large amount of artificial chemicals which are dodgy. Its acidity can cause tooth decay (though less than regular Pepsi which also contains sugar). Some of the artificial ingredients may be harmful if taken in large quantities. However if taken in moderation it is OK as an occasional treat and is better than regular Pepsi as it does not contain the sugar and calories. Also be careful if you drink at night, as it contains caffiene as do most other colas, both regular and diet.

To make up for no sugar the soft drink companies including pepsi put in two artificial sweeteners in it to make the soft drink still taste pretty good without sugar. If you talk to most people they will tell you that the sweeteners are actually worse for you that sugar, so take my advice and stay away from the hype that soft drinks advertise when they say something like "max taste zero sugar" or something like that

Chemicals! It's just a big can of chemicals. You really think that's healthy? Drink some tea instead. It's full of antioxidants, so it is good for you.

its bad full of artificial sweeteners and other ingredients bad for you concentrated caffeine is also present quite bad and addictive

Because since it has no sugars, it uses no calorie sweeteners that aren't good at all for your health.

they say "everything bad for you even sex" hey go figure

Fizzy is an acid, it can mess up your teeth! Thats the main reason i think its bad... But so tempting i know :0
