Ball logo on UK Pepsi Max cans?!

Question: Ball logo on UK Pepsi Max cans?

I have noticed that at the bottom of each can of Pepsi Max in the UK a small logoo with the text "Ball" is shown, I assumed this was a Pepsi thing but on drinking a US can of Tab I again noticed the same logo. Can anyone tell me what the logo means/represents and any history? Many thanks.

Maybe its the firm that makes the cans

I think they're the people who bottled the soda. The Ball company.
