I'm lactose intolerant, too, and milk just makes my stomach hurt really bad as it tries to digest the milk, and I end up in the bathroom for a while. It can make you break out a bit. I haven't found any long term effects, but for me, the short term effects hurt, so I just drink Lactaid (I don't like the taste of soy and almond milk). I promise, it tastes exactly the same as regular milk (which is awesome, because I totally love drinking milk), without the pain. You should try that!

There are different degrees of lactose intolerance, and also various fat levels of milk that can be tolerated more easily than others...as well as how much you're getting at one time, etc., etc.
If the milk products you're consuming aren't messing up your intestines too much, you're probably not being affected that much, or are doing some of the "right" things. I think that any real damage that might be done would indicated only if you were having a lot of problems.
Check out my answer in this previous question thoughfor more details on those topics, and how to lessen the effects, etc, etc:

You do not have lactase, which digests the lactose. I think lol vaguely remember that from science class, who knows what grade. I'm assuming you get some seriously uncomfortable diahrea everytime you eat dairy or drink milk?
It will make your stomach work a lot harder than usual. So you are giving stress to your stomach. However, my dad is also lactose intolerant ,but he drinks soy milk. Try soy milk that are lactose free.
Break out. my mom is lactose intolerant and she breaks out but she still drinks milk and puts butter in some of her food. umm... yeah thats about it. you itch a lil bit?
