Why does bottled water not lose it's taste?!

Question: Why does bottled water not lose it's taste?
Ok, so how come if I buy a bottle of say, Isklar bottled water (from a glacier) and keep it for a few days after opening, does it not lose it's taste (or for that matter, even without opening). Whereas if I fill up the same bottle, but this time from the tap and keep it in the same place and open it ocassionally, it tastes awful after one day. Why is this?

Answers:

tap water has chemical residue that changes in the water over time. glacier or watever you said is fresh

in my opinion i think the flavor in water has to do with temperature
if its cold it tastes good but in heat, it loses some of its flavor

water doesn't change flavor. it's water.
