Is soda made of metal and if I put rum in it does it turn the rum into metal?

Soda is made out of a mixture of several metallic elements including carbon and phosphorus, so the answer is that it technically is made out of metal, but it is safe to drink and you do not taste the metal. Rum in soda does not turn into metal, but the metal already in soda does go away.
