Is drinking tea better for you at 14?!

Question: Is drinking tea better for you at 14?
I'm 14 and recently have gotten addicted to tea. I drink like 2-4 cups of Earl gray, a day. Well with a full spoon full f honey. I'm trying to cut my honey intake back tho.

I have read on how tea is really really good for you. Is this true? Well at my age?

My friends laughed at me because i had tea instead of pop at my friends party. Whateves im cool!

Answers:

Well personally I think tea is way better than cola or soda. While both have caffeine, tea has lots more health benefits than soft drinks.

Here is a good source on the health benefits of Earl Grey tea.

there's nothing wrong with drinking tea other than it makes your teeth yellow, but so does soda and it gives you more cavities than tea unless of course you put a load of sugar in the tea (remember honey is sugar too, just not refined). don't listen to them they are just kids after all and immature. tea is healthy but maybe don't drink so much. if you really like it buy bulk packages (~100 to 200 bags and some have a variety) they are cheaper per tea bag and will last you long but not sit there so long that the tea goes bad. which i think it takes quite a while to happen. also herbal teas are delicious look for those or even better the plants so you can grow your own! exact care and harvesting instructions can easily be found online.

soda and fizzy drinks aren't good at all,

Tea is really good to drink. It doesn't matter what your age is, it don't make a difference.

Tea is a good drink, China and INdia grow up on it, and drink it all day every day. And they are the two biggest strongest most powerful nations on earth. The smartest too.

The nation that drinks the most soda- USA, is the most dumb.

Fact.

don't think bad...about tea. because the tea makes your life healthy. its good for yous age...........
