Do British people really like to drink tea with milk?!

My mum has about 6 milky tea's everyday, i don't understand why..she's actually irish but she doesn't put Guinness in it lol i like coffee myself and i'm british so i don't think all british people are like that, but there are some like me old mum!! lol

On the whole yes! Well I do and brewing tea has become an art form. Do you put milk in first and pour the hot water then, or do you put the milk in after the tea has brewed? Some people like tea without milk but I think their in the minority.

I can drink tea without the milk, but I prefer it with the milk. Tea has been England's saviour over the decades in all areas of life. A tea break at work increases the productivity of the company or firm.

And just lately stopping the tea break was being contemplated by employers. But sense prevailed and they soon dropped this daft idea.

There is something that's hard to define about tea and what it does to the human person, but I hope it never gets taken away. I've Just switched the kettle on for my next cup of tea. Cheers!

Yes, most British people like to drink tea with milk, but not all. I drink neither tea nor milk which is awkward in Britain because at most social, official or work events the only drink provided is tea or coffee with milk and sugar.

Most British, Malaysians, Indians, Hong Kong people love drinking black tea with milk or creamer. I drink it every single day.

Only certain types of tea. Not green tea or chinese tea.

I am Australian & if I drink Black tea I always have it with milk. If I drink Green or White teas I never use milk :)

Well I'm not British & just plain old American but I must have cream with my hot tea never lemon!!
