Propel vs Diet Soda? Opinions wanted?!

Question: Propel vs Diet Soda? Opinions wanted?
Hey everyone,

I wanted to know what yall think about propel falvored water. To lose weight, I stopped drinking soda of any kind. I used to only drink diet though. Since I didn't want to torture myself, I bought a pack of Propel water to make it easier. I have been soda free now for about a week. This is really good because I was really addicted to diet coke before.

Anywayz, I was looking at the ingredients and propel and kinda felt uneasy. It has 20 cal. (not bad), 160 mg sodium, 5g carbs, and 4g of sugar. I went off diet soda to lose weight, but is this water worse than diet soda?? It does have vitamins, no carbonation, and no caffeine, which is good.

What is your opinion on this? I know it is better to just drink normal water, but I thought I would cheat if I didn't substitute for a little bit. I probably will start drinking only water when I run out of propel.

Answers:

I would stick with regular water, but I also know that sometimes it just doesn't hit the spot. How about buying seltzer water (with no added ingredients) and mixing it with a piece of freshly cut lemon or fresh mint? It's pretty refreshing, and the sugar is natural, not manufactured. Propel seems like it's marketed for people who do crazy 5 hour work outs. At any rate, it's good that you cut out soda. Good job!

Try Sobe Life Water it has 0 sugar and tastes great. It has a variety of flavors so you will not get bored of it. It is better than propel for you but has more flavor than water. Diet soda may have no calories but it contains aspartame which is a toxic form of sugar so it is worse than drinking propel.

if you want to lose weight just drink strait up water, soda is bad for you and so is any flavored drink. If you want something with flavor i would drink any NON instant tea. Instant tea is not as bad as soda but its still not as good as regular tea.

Switch to diet soda
