HAHAHAHA I do NOT think water will help you anyhow... Do not drink too much water or you will kill yourself, not a joke... Your body will reach so-called 'water intoxication' state of body when you have too much water inside you... To quit being addicted to something you just have to stop it and I dont think you will get any headaches or any symptoms because I'm drinking about 1L of Coca-Cola a day and whey I drain vitamins form my body I just stop and eat a lot of vegetables and fruit. AAAAND then I just drink as same amount of Coca-Cola as I did before. Btw I'm not smoking and I trained 9 sports so far so my metabolism is probably a bit different then yours.

If you decide to cut back or stop drinking coffee, do so gradually. Stopping suddenly can cause unpleasant symptoms such as headaches, irritability, and fatigue.

It's best to ask your doctor if you should stop or cut back on drinking coffee. Caffeine can cause problems for people who have heart problems or are taking certain medications. It may also trigger migraine headaches.

I just quit my diet mountain dew addiction last month. I was buying between two and four each day. My fiance suggested those 5 hour energies, which I found out have taurine in them.

First, I cut back like you did. One a day, one every other day. The headaches weren't fun, but what was worse was being exhausted at work.

My kickboxing instructor suggested that I try EIRO Energy 25 calorie drinks, which is all natural and contains no caffeine and no sugar. There's no crash and I feel energized like I never did with mountain dew.

I am now able to get up in the morning and I feel awake and energetic just by taking a quick shower and eating an apple. If I feel tired, I drink an EIRO Energy, but most days I don't even need it.

I think there is probably something that works for everyone, but for me, this was it.

this sounds like my parents, except i dont think they will ever stop drinking pepsi! best way to avoid those headaches is to not quit cold turkey, but drink less everyday. drink half a can every day for a week or 2, then a gulp everyday for a while, THEN quit. take it slow so your body gets used to not living on caffeine

Stay away from fuzz drink compared to coffie it has double the caffeine and four times the sugar it say it on the can and I hear 5hour power is a good replacement with coffie and fuzz and pills too.

I really doubt 1 can a day would have enough caffeine to induce withdrawal symptoms, if there are any they would be extremely weak.

convince your self not to have it for a day and an other day and an other !!!!!
you would get rid of it and would not think of having pepsi !!!

I dont think your addicted, I know a man that used to be addicted to lucozade about 5 years ago and he drank 20 bottles a day. No joke lol. Im surprised he never took a heart attack.

yea, drink lots of water and your body will go in with drawl, its just like any other addiction
