do good eggs float when boiling?!

Question: Do good eggs float when boiling?
maybe they are old?

Answers:

stale eggs lift off the bottom of the pan and stand on one end due to the air pocket within the shell. As the eggs get older the air pocket gets bigger and so the egg rises up on end.

The other answer is about the water making the eggs rise and fall is also true but if your eggs float on end as soon as you put them in the water then it shows they are getting stale.

No eggs dont float when boiling, they raise and fall in the water when boiling because the hot water lifts them.

Fresh eggs will not float but old eggs will, where i live they use fresh eggs floatation to get the right amount of salt in pickling solution
