stovetop vs electric moka?!
Are there any big differences between the two? Apart from the fact that the coils on the electric may fail?
Also, are storebought grounds ok with these things or do i need freshly ground beans, and what size should i get?

I use a stove top myself. An electric one seems uncalled for. I was a Batista for years and I would suggest that you always grind beans yourself if you can as the oils that give the great flavour start to lose their pungency very quickly, ground stuff just tastes rather stale in comparison. It's worth getting a grinder as even cheap beans will taste better then pre-ground coffee.
