Why does my coffee taste weak?!

Question: Why does my coffee taste weak?
Yesterday we opened a new can of Folger's Breakfast Blend. The first pot tasted pretty weak, so I brewed a second pot, using a little more than usual. It still did not have the nice rich flavor we are used to (this is our usual brand for years). This morning, pot #3 is still quite weak after adding more than ever. Is it possible to get a 'bad' can of coffee? The coffee pot seems to be functioning as good as it was 3 days ago when my coffee was still tastey. I'm having withdrawals, but this tough economy makes me want to try to choke the stuff down anyway. It looks a little lighter coming out and my husband says it's weak, too, so I don't think it's just me.

I'm sure it's the batch of coffee. I'd buy another can and see, maybe from another store then usual so you do not get the same batch. If it's good send the company a letter or e-mail and see if they will give you a coupon or even a free can. Never know. Also just for giggles have you cleaned your maker recently? Try that too.

It could be the blend you bought. Next time, I would buy a stronger blend and add more coffee to the pot. It could also be the pot you are brewing with though.

You just need to buy a new can and see if its your maker of the coffee, or its the can

You could be adding too much water that is causing it to be weak.I am not sure if this helps or not.I hope it does. :)
