Why do I get weak and exhausted after I drink anything with caffeine?!

Question: Why do I get weak and exhausted after I drink anything with caffeine?
I can drink green tea (no sugar and cold OR sugar and hot) or coffee with sugar, only a cup size, and I get so weak it feels weird to walk, or move and I get this achey painful feeling in my chest and into my abdomen. I love green tea and coffee, and I know about all of the antioxidants in both of them, and I don't overuse it. I don't drink any other kinds of caffeinated drinks, I don't smoke, and I eat right, and exercise on a regular basis, so what on earth is wrong with me? I've tried only drinking it with food, I've tried eating after, before, and everything else I can think of. I really would love to be able to drink it without this feeling :( ..should I just stop drinking it? I love water, but not ALL THE TIME. Help meee!

It's most likely the drug called caffeine which works like any other upper.
You get a blast of energy, they you spiral downhill and get very tired.
What to do? Again. like with any other drug, you take more and more etc etc.
( That turns to addiction same as any other drug) So you don't want to go that route.
Of course some people tolerate it better than others.
I don't nor do you.
Best thing is to switch to red tea( actually rooibus) which has no caffeine and is quite nice.
Your caffeine sensitive. Not such a bad thing in the long run.

Caffeine overdose. I get similar feelings if I drink three cups or more of coffee quickly, but you're far more sensitive.

Thankfully, decaf exists. It's not quite as good for you or as tasty as the full version, but it's an alternative to water and feeling horrible.

You might want to tell doctors about this - such extreme sensitivity to caffeine suggests you might be extremely sensitive to other medications.

maybe u should stop drinking

Hi,

Caffeine Allergy Symptoms

Caffeine allergy symptoms range from a minor rash to life threatening seizures. The severity of the reaction depends on what the person is actually allergic to and to what extent a person is allergic. Some of the reactions associated with caffeine allergies include difficulty breathing, shock, tongue, and facial swelling. These reactions are different than those associated with consuming too much caffeine which include jitters, headache, insomnia, and irritability. An uncommon component to caffeine that people experience adverse reactions to is tannins, but it does happen. Tannins are not only found in coffee and soda, but in chocolate and red wine as well. Adverse reactions to herbicides and pesticides used to grow coffee beans is a much more common culprit of adverse reactions. Keeping a diary of food consumed, physical and mental feelings each day, and physical activity will aid in discovering specific reasons for allergic reactions.
Caffeine allergy symptoms can be as subtle as tingling in the mouth, itchy skin, and minor swelling of the throat. People who have these reactions every day may not even notice them.
Many alternatives are available to replace caffeinated beverages and foods. Some people depend on drinking a warm beverage in the morning or throughout the day which can be replaced with chia tea, soy coffee, or Teeccino.
