for the second question:

distilled water is NOT a good pH buffer. What this means is that it has like no resistance to pH change.
This is because for distilled water to be a pH buffer solution (not change pH a by a lot when things of very different pHs are added) it must be composed of a weak acid and its conjugate base, or vise versa....and it's not.

The pH of lemon juice is 2.3....or for this purpose, let's just say it's 3. With this being said, 5 drops should be enough to drop the pH to 3.

SHORT ANSWER: Yes

it is about a normal size (16 oz) water bottle and no 5 drops will not be enough each drop decreases the pH by .1 so you would need to put about 20 drops to lower the pH to 3. might I ask why you are asking this?

1 leter is about 36 ounces
but water is ph of 7 to make it a ph of 3 ?not sure.
