It can, depending on the type of glass. It also doesn't insulate the hand from the heat of the coffee very well. Glass don't usually have handles the way that coffee mugs do.



I wouldn't pour coffee into a glass. The heat might break the glass and the glass has no handle so the hot coffee might burn you. Those glass coffee cups that have the handles are thicker than glasses and they have handles, so they're designed for hot drinks like coffee. But don't put hot drinks in glasses that are meant for cold drinks.



It depends on how thick the glass is and make sure the coffee cools a bit because if it's boiling it can cause the glass cup to break. I've personally learned the hard way lol.

Not at all. Unless the glass is REALLY thin and the coffee is REALLY hot, there's not problem at all.
