Question about Oolong tea?!?!

Question: Question about Oolong tea?!?
My mom watches Dr. Oz religiously, and on one of his shows he talked about Oolong tea, and all of its benefits it has health wise, so I started drinking it, and I find that it is the best tea that I've ever drank. But what I was wondering was, if there was a way where I could essentially make ice tea out of it? (without adding sugar) Would I be able to make a big batch of it, stick it in the fridge and drink it cold? Would I get the same nutrients out of it when I would when its hot? And if you've done that, how did you find it? Is it better cold than hot?

Thanks in advance

Answers:

yes, you would get the same nutrients if it was over iced. I would say that you should drink tea for the enjoyment first, and the health benefits second. I think tea tastes good but is an acquired taste so which is why it isn't as popular as other drinks. About brewing, what I do is boil 2 cups of water and let it set for a few minutes because oolong tea doesn't need to be brewed in boiling water. Next, steep about 8 tea bags (or however much you wish to make) for about 4 minutes. So now you have this concentrated tea. You can then add water (maybe 4 cups) to taste and serve over ice.

edit: you can also ice green tea and white tea. Those require even cooler temps (hot but not boiling).
