Green tea benefits true? How much is too much?!

Question: Green tea benefits true? How much is too much?
I have searched the web for pages about green tea listing benefits or downsides, but there are too many conflicting views on the subject and I don't really know what to believe. Also, if it is really beneficial, is there a point where it becomes detrimental? Suppose I drink too much? I drink about 2 to 3 liters of Lipton green tea specially blended for iced tea a day. I know that seems like a lot but, I hate water and cover up the taste of my cities water with the tea. Could drinking this much tea have any harmful effects on my health over time? I have been doing this for about three months so far.

first, i'd like to address the water issue. If your water is that bad, try using a brita filter. i think mine is amazing and you can definitely tell the difference between tap and brita filtered water. the downside is replacing the filter every 3 months, but it's worth it. Also, I make all my tea with the brita filtered water and it's very delish.

as far as drinking that much tea, I don't see any problem with it. but i would mix it up with different types of tea just so that you don't get bored with green tea. Maybe Sencha, oolong, white tea, ginger tea, rooibos, etc.

I love tea.
