is chocolate milk bad for you?!

Question: Is chocolate milk bad for you?
Answers:

Actually my dear Vicky L. it has been proven by science, and my own experience, that chocolate milk is the best drink to have after you work out, because it has calcium, protein, sugars, and fatty acids for your body. Also it is very delicious to drink, so whoever says that it is not is completely crazy!

If you are past the age of 12 (when your body starts coming out of its kid stage), milk is not needed as help towards growing anymore, and builds up calcium deposits if not counteracted on with potassium or magnesium. Milk also causes fat build up (not because of the fat in milk, when you take the fat out it actually makes it worse and causes you to gain more weight and screw up your organs). So milk isn't very good for you unless its just a pleasure every once in a while. And chocolate syrup, powder, etc. is very sugary and also causes fat build up, as well as making your adrenals pump out adrenaline, causing them to not work as well if you continue to rely on sugar highs for energy. So... chocolate milk is bad for you yes, but if you only drink it every once in a while doesn't affect your body hardly at all. Hope this helped :)

It depends on if it's premixed or you're mixing it yourself. Premixed chocolate milk is often made with whole milk and contains corn syrup to make it thicker. This isn't healthy. BUT, if you mix it yourself using skim or 1%, it's much healthier. I buy Nesquik powder because it's made with sugar, whereas hershey' syrup is made with corn syrup.

well milk is very healthy for yoiu and chocolate helps balance your hormones... there is dieting cons to chocolate but there is not enough chocolate in chocolate milk to effect you. therefore, no, it is not bad for you

Nothing is bad for you unless it is done to excess. That's it.
