Coffee isn't bad for children. In some cultures kids drink in every morning. As a child I had "coffee" with my Father and Grandmother. Of course for a 3 years old it was mostly warm milk or cream (Grandma had a dairy). Remember the darker the roast the less the amount of caffeine. It is the amount of caffeine that becomes the problem. A small amount like a single cup (4-6 oz) seems to be ok and actually seems to stabilize hyper kids. The problem is large amounts of caffeine, it is a stimulant and to much is harmful to the body, just like energy drinks, or drugs.
cooking for over 50 years & have drank coffee as long as I can remember
coffee isn't really bad for you, it's just the fact that it stains your teeth & can damage the enamel. I drink coffee, but only like a cup every other month or less. Nothing will happen if you drink coffee except it may have kids on a hyper stance or even sleepless because of the caffeine, but of course that's why they made decaffeinated coffee. I've been drinking coffee since i was a baby, baby (not even crawling yet) & i came out just fine.
They get hyper from the caffeine and sugar.
But some countries look at it differently then others.
Europe for instance( Especially Italy, France and Spain) have no problems if there kids want coffee or even wine at a young age.
The US is different. We don't quite understand the European philosophy on the subject.
I side with the Europeans. Basically, kids want what they can't have.
There they can have it so the "forbidden apple" is not an issue( no need to sneak around) for it.
coffee contains caffine from a coffee bean , caffine is something that can boost your brain, but kids do can not cope with coffee it is also bad for adults, some coffee is not like decaffed, expresio
