twist the cap open with a towel if you cant get it

Try whacking it with a hammer. If that doesn't work, get a hot wet washcloth and try to pry it open. If that doesn't work bang it against the kid's head that your are babysitting hoping that that pops the cap off. If that doesn't work you should sue the Gatoraid company complaining how hard it was to open and that you were dying of thirst and almost died from the harsh experience.

You cant! jk it is really hard to but i get it open sooner or later. Just put a cloth over it and twist really hard.
