about 2 teaspoons for a 16 oz cup (preferably of peppermint herbal tea with a squeeze of lemon)

On a side note, apple cider vinegar really helps a sore throat. It tastes awful but it works like a charm! Here is the recipe:
3 Tablespoons Apple Cider Vinegar
3 Tablespoons lemon juice, fresh squeezed if possible
2 Tablespoons honey
1/2 Teaspoon cayenne pepper
mix with boiling water and sip slowly.

Hope you feel better!

It's up to you; how sweet do you like your tea? I don't like mine very sweet so I only put a teaspoon in but you can always put more in. It's the combination of the heat of the hot tea AND the honey that soothes a sore throat. And you can just take a teaspoon of honey by itself too.

for a cup of tea, i normally put a tablespoon or a tablespoon and a half. maybe more. it takes so good!

most of the time its a tablespoon or so but you can but has much as you want to along as it help
