I really want hot chocolate, but I don't have any. I do have chocolate syrup and milk. Would this work?!

Question: I really want hot chocolate, but I don't have any. I do have chocolate syrup and milk. Would this work?
Answers:

It won't taste exactly the same but still should be good. Put some whipped cream in it too. Yummy!

Absolutely. Mix with milk according to directions, then heat. Stir in 1/4 teaspoon of vanilla extract to make it richer, or a couple drops of orange extract to enhance the bitterness of the chocolate.

Important: You can easily heat it up in a mug in the microwave oven for about 1 minute. If you heat it in a pan on the stove, be sure to rinse the pan with cold water before adding the milk. This will help prevent the milk from sticking to the pan, making clean-up a lot easier.
