Is drinking coffee once a week bad for you?!

Question: Is drinking coffee once a week bad for you?
Each week, on Saturday mornings, I go to Starbucks and get a Carmel Latte. I do this so I can be awake at work. I was just wondering if drinking coffee once a week bad for you? I'm only 16 and still growing, so should I stop drinking coffee because it's not good for growth or so I still drink it?

No. Studies have shown that coffee isn't bad for you, even every day.

"Well, I would have to say, all things in moderation. There do definitely seem to be some health benefits. The more we're learning, research is leaning on the side of it being good for you. It lowers the risk of Parkinson's disease and Type 2 diabetes. It mediates depression. But the benefits are dose-related."

That is fine, as long as you do not drink it every single day. If you do, you will become addicted. My father has coffee every single day and without it he gets a headache. Trust me, it is fine, just do not do it everyday.

Me, common sense. :)

on the Dr. Oz show they were talking about how drinking regular coffee can help prevent different types of cancer

Everything in moderation is fine. So no it's not bad for you.

Once a week is fine. I have been drinking it every day since I was 15.
