For the hyper effect, red bull or a liter of monster. For taste: if you're younger, monster. For more mature taste buds, red bull.
I know it wasn't in the question, but I personally like full throttle more than either of them. It doesn't give you jitters and its not too sweet and doesn't taste exactly like pee.
Try Mona Vie instead, last time I drank one, it was like I had just smoked a big joint. I was so high it was kind of funny. Natural high too. No caffeine, no additives, good stuff.
Monster by default but I prefer 5 Hour Energy or if I need
an extra boost Redline, be careful with Redline though !!
Personally Red Bull, but I like both.
But emerge and red devil are best :).
