Can you use sugar and milk to make smoothies?!

Question: Can you use sugar and milk to make smoothies?
Every time that I buy a smoothie a notice they only use juice, fruit, ice and yogurt, but not sugar. I would like to know if you can also use sugar and milk to make a smoothie or if you use these ingredients you call it for another name..shake, milkshake..etc..What is the difference?

Smoothies don't usually have sugar in them because they are meant to be healthy. Adding sugar takes away from the health benefits of the smoothie. If you want a sweeter taste, try adding honey instead. Milk is fine to add to a smoothie, but low-fat yogurt is even better.

If you add sugar and milk to your smoothie, it would still be considered a smoothie. A milkshake is practically the same, only it doesn't use fruit. That's the difference. And a milkshake is generally made with ice cream while as a smoothie is normally either made from yogurt or frozen yogurt.

yes, you can use all kinds of sweeteners. for example, you can use honey, agave nectar, raw cane sugar, etc. they all make the smoothies taste sweet but in different ways.

Yes you can. It makes it taste better with those two ingredients. I do it all the time.

no. You have to have different stuff
