Well, lets start. First risk of all, soft drinks contain high levels of sugar on it so your weight is going to be the one affected. And if it doesn't contain sugar but a substitute like aspartame well, it is a very dangerous sugar substitute that contains a long list( 92 to be exactly) of side effects ( Beginning from Obesity, Cancer to Depression) that can do harm to you. If the soft drink has caramel coloring included, (Coca Cola, Pepsi) the likelihood of getting cavities will increase. The high sodium levels of it, will do also harm on you and the caffeine that most of them have will make you anxious and unrested. Most soft drinks have high acidic levels so they will do harm to you; beginning the tooth enamel continuing the stomach ( increasing the rate of an ulcer to be created), the following bones (osteoporosis) and ending in kidneys and lower intestine ( Kidney Stones and they are painful!!!!)

So there you have it! In conclusion, keep away from soft drinks!! They are not good for your health! When drinking, if you choose water,100% real fruit juice or vegetable juice, your life span will increase and your body will thank you for it.

My own! I did at college a investigation work on energy drinks, soft and hard drinks and its energy outputs.
