Rooibos Tropica, Roobios Sweet Amore are the newest ones....it is extremely healthy and tastes great...it is also good for mixing with other teas like Teavana teas...http://www.teavana.com/ theres more info on there for Rooibos and everything else:)
Rooibos is very sensitive to freshness. While it's fresh, it's sweet rather than astringent, but once it goes stale it becomes flavorless. I haven't tried "green rooibos".
Many companies sell flavored rooibos - that is, rooibos leaves with artificial flavoring agents added. The range of flavors is only limited by corporate marketing departments.
Drink it like you would any tea, although rooibos benefits from a longer steeping time and won't grow bitter.
It is a plant that grows in South Africa. Also called "red tea" (Rooibos means "red bush"), it tastes a lot like other tea. It is very slightly reddish in the cup. It also has no caffeine.
People often mix it with something else. I have 3 or 4 different ones, but one I like is the "President's Choice" one with vanilla in it.
I think the most amazing thing is just how much like tea it really is. Various teas taste different, but rooibus is close enough that you could almost mistake for just another kind of "real" tea.
