How do outside pop machines keep their drinks from freezing in the winter?!

Question: How do outside pop machines keep their drinks from freezing in the winter?
How do they do it? I mean in Canada they've gotta put up with -40 degree weather...how do they keep the pop from turning to slush without some kind of portable heater?

Answers:

No, they set the machine to a certain temperature. If its set to -2 f and its -4 outside the machine will make sure to heat up a bit to keep the Temperature the same. Its like you air conditioning in your house. If you set it to 80 and its 90 outside it will make it go to 80. If its set to 70 and its 60 outside it will heat it 10 degrees. Now I don't know where you go in Canada but I have been going for 12 years and the coldest its been is -4 farenheit.

there are these people called "flamers" who come in the middle of the night and use flame throwers to keep them from freezing
