What is the real name soda, pop, or sodapop?!
and which name came first soda or pop some Chicagoians say its soda but I say soda pop or soda.

It was originally called "soda water” in the late 1700's. So, I guess "soda" would be the most accurate.
I, as well as everyone I know, call it "pop". I guess it's a Canadian thing.
It can also be called a soft drink. The real name is just "carbonated beverage" I believe.

it depends on where you live. where i'm from in the northeast, we call it soda
