Question: Would anything bad happen to my coffee maker if I used pop instead of water?
Me and my dumbass friend are bored and want to drink something that tastes bad. Would anything bad happen to the coffee maker?

No.
All coffeemakers do is heat up water and dispense it through a filter.
You might taste a hint of something weird in your coffee for the next couple brews but you can always clean that out with some CLR or vinegar and water.

Bubbly Coffee? Interesting... I wonder what would happen if you used carbonated water instead of coke?



No. Coffee makers can be cleaned and rinsed. It will be fine. You and your friend are smarter than you think.



You will probably have to buy another one, it will mess it up in my opinion.
