Well, for some (but it's not very likely) it's actually killed them. But for most it might result in restlessness, nervousness, excitement, insomnia, flushed face, stomach pain, muscle twitching, rambling of thought and speech, gas, periods of being very tired, ect.

As for the second question, it would depend on the type of soda. For example, for Mountain Dew, it would be about 9 or 10 cans (12 oz.). But for let's say, Coke, it would be about 16 to 17 cans.

Occasionally when I was bored at work, I might find myself drinking 5 cups of coffee before noon. And the cup I used held around 8 oz, not 6 oz., so it was like drinking 6 cups of coffee. My boss told me I had to stop doing that b/c of my reaction: very restless, had trouble with cohesive thoughts, and also had difficulty doing my job (sitting, typing, and figuring out how to code certain maintenance issues on our equipment).

Don't know how many cans of soft drink it'd take b/c I might not drink but one a month. On the other hand, the 5 full cups of coffee did me in.

Heart rate rises so high that you feel like it's going to come out of your mouth. I am chicken never tried to pop that many cans to find out,,
