Not exactly.

Sparkling water is basically carbonated water.

Soda pop is sparkling water with flavoring agents like syrup and such.

Used to be the most flavoring sparkling water would have was a squirt of fresh fruit juice but now on the market there are soda pops sold under the name of sparkling water, basically no better than coke... gotta read those labels.

coke,sprite,pepsi etc are carbonated soft drinks that contain sparkling water along with flavoring agents to give them their distinctive taste.

i won't say sparking water comprises of coke pepsi etc in this case. sparkling water can be used interchangeably with the terms fizzy water, seltzer, soda water or carbonated water.
