Does Oishi green tea have caffeine?!

Question: Does Oishi green tea have caffeine?
I was wondering if oishi green tea has caffeine...I mean I'm kind of familiar with hearing someone say that it does. I mean..here I am someone who really...picks what I drink or eat. For example I don't drink soda cuz I i know it's bad for you and all those...so I wanted to know...because on the side of the oishi green tea it says all those healthy stuffs about reducing risks of cancer, makes you burn fast calories, and umm makes you healthy but it mentions nothing about caffeine. Well the reason I got kind of suspicious is that...last time I went to camp and my friend bought a box it. I don't have any water to drink so I drank and I felt very alert and fresh...I don't know...I don't know if it's cuz of the caffeine or was it cuz of the taste of it...please answer! thank you!! :D

Yes, Oishi green tea, like any green tea, contains caffeine.

And moderate amounts of caffeine does make you feel alert and fresh; in fact, there are other chemicals in tea, such as L-theanine, that interact with caffeine to make you feel more alert too.

It is also true that green tea, and in fact, all tea, is quite healthy. However, it does not help you burn calories, and people are often over-stating or exaggerating the health benefits of tea. I'm going to attach two links about the caffeine content of tea, and the health benefits of tea, if you want a more objective perspective on the matter.

Yes, green tea does contain caffeine.

Questions like "is caffeine bad for you" are kind of difficult to answer. A few glasses of green tea will not be bad for you unless you have a serious problem with caffeine. There are health benefits of many drinks containing caffeine, and there is some evidence that caffeine itself has heath benefits. Whether these outweigh the health negatives is for you to decide, but for the most part a few glasses of tea, green or black, will not have a significant effect on you.
