The eight glasses a day myth just goes on and on...

The real answer is to drink if you feel thirsty. If you're not thirsty, there's no need for you to drink.

That's it.

Drinking additional fixed quantities will not improve your skin tone or concentration in any way, or do any of the other mystical things that have been claimed.

Common sense/university research.

How big are the bottles? Remember, everyone here has a different definition of what "ordinary" is. The rule goes that you drink eight 8 oz. glasses of water a day. So you're going to have to do some math depending on how many ounces the bottles you purchase hold.

8 glasses of water, which is 8 fl. oz each glass...

Therefore, 64 fl. oz total. A regular bottle water consists of 16.9 fl. oz. It's between 3.75-4 bottles.

you should only drink as much as you feel conformable

hmm, my doctor usually advises me at least 8 glasses.

If it's a 16 oz. bottle, then four or five a day spread out.
